Kitchen
A fully furnished open kitchen with a 4 plate stove, coffee maker, electric kettle and fridge. The living room with open kitchen has a terrace with a view of the playground/campsite.
Living room
The living room with open kitchen is equipped with a seating area with TV. For children aged 0-2, you will need to provide a highchair yourself, if necessary.
Bedroom (2x)
The 5-person home has a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a loft with one single bed. The 6-person home has a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a loft with 2 single beds. The loft is not suitable for adults. The house also comes with a children’s bed for children aged 0-2.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet and sink.
Other extras
For a small fee, you can use the centrifuge, washing machine and dryer.

Enjoy North West Friesland
North West Friesland is an area where you can breathe in lots of fresh air. The green meadows, grazing cows, clear skies, beautiful horizons and the tranquility are aspects that many tourists would love to take with them back home. At De Blikvaart, you can enjoy the Frisian landscape in full glory.
St. Annaparochie, located in municipality het Bildt.
Het Bildt offers many opportunities for excursions. Within a few kilometers there are several characteristic villages surrounding St. Annaparochie, which is the center of this area. St. Annaparochie is a pleasant shopping area which has a lot to offer. There you can get your daily groceries. Supermarket Albert Heijn is also open on Sundays from 12.00-17.00pm.
Near Leeuwarden, Harlingen and Franeker.
Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland, is only 15 kilometers away. Also the historical villages such as Harlingen and Franeker, aren’t far away.
Fishing
Friesland is one of the best spots in The Netherlands to go fishing. From the shore, from a boat or from your tent you can fish for eel, carp and pike fishes. Frequently, huge fishes are caught. Please note that you will need a ‘fisher’s card’, you can request this card at de Deinende Dobber. In the meadow next to the campsite, there are two excavated trout ponds. There you can fish for trouts and you don’t have to worry about a fisher’s card! For more information, you can take a look at trout for all.
Fern
The campsite is directly along the water De Blikvaart. De Blikvaart is part of the famous ice skating route ‘Elfsteden’.
It is a very beautiful route to try during your holiday. You are allowed to bring your own boat, you can launch it from the slipway on our harbor. We even rent out motor boats.

Swimming
In Blikvaart, in the port, you can enjoy swimming. Especially kids entertain themselves for hours, with their inflatable boats, airbeds and balls.

Hiking
Discover the old cultural landscapes, the variety in nature and the rich, cultural history of the coasts and islands. Every hiker can walk on mudflat, no matter if you prefer a short walk or a long distance: the mudflat has a surface of 1200 square kilometers where you can enjoy hiking on both sides of the world heritage ‘Waddenzee’.
The one-day hiking tours are about 20 kilometers long and lead you along the most beautiful “must-have-seen places” in the Wadden-area. For more information, you can take a look on Wadden hiking and Historical routes.
The pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostella starts in Sint Jacobiparochie (only 5 kilometers away from Blikvaart). Walking a part of the pilgrim tail during your holiday will be a special experience. For more information, you can take a look on It Jabikspaad
Bicycle
The bicycle route connects several bicycle junctions. Due to the distinct signage, you can easily choose a different route. You can of course also choose your own route. Plan your personalized route. There are special routes for E-bikers as well Knooppuntenroutes.
